This event will launch the work of Compassionate Capital Region into our community. You will experience the safety and profound experience of Sacred Circle. We will have Presenters and Stewards, Vendors and Sponsors there for you at this first annual Symposium. The more we can dispel our fears and support our unique process of grief, the more each of us will be fully present to love, laugh and deepen our relationship and experience the wonder and gifts of Life.
Living and dying are the same thing—that doesn’t change until the last breath. Myra Bennett
Don't miss your chance to meet and listen to Author Myra Bennett as she speaks on her new latest book Dying Made Easy(er) Creating Your Happy Ending.
Dying Made Easy(er) is both a handbook of pertinent information and a medley of informed suggestions for us to consider when experiencing or sharing the phenomenon that is the end of life. Bennett believes it is imperative that we—as a community—are aware of how to find help when faced with death and dying. In Dying Made Easy(er), she provides the resource to address this pressing need.
Entry is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided. Books will also be available for purchase and come signed!
Join us for this groundbreaking, grassroots event in announcing Sacramento’s courageous step forward into the willingness of discomfort in the unknown. We are committing to learning the deeper needs of each city’s districts in order to create a healthier whole compassionate community.
I will be selling some of my art including some one of a kind glass beaded orchids on canvas. I will also have some gallery wrapped prints of original paintings on sale. We will have the Red Tent at the front door entrance to bring awareness and raise funding for the Red Tent to be at 9/16 Day and California Vision 2020's Culture Lab. The Red Tent creates a safe place for women and girls to gather. They are free to share their stories and/or listen and support others. Please stop by!
